Or Dragging Out - To LTF
I'm feeling very weird today. Maybe it's the congestion and fever. I took some drugs and took a nap late this morning and slept so long The Little Girl got worried and woke me up about an hour ago. It's very sweet when she does that. Cats are funny about routine. MFS made an interesting correlation between cats and autistic children a few weeks ago. She worked with autistic teenagers for some years before she went into the Navy in 1976 and mentioned that cats are a lot like autistic kids. One of her observations was that they freak when a routine changes. Another is that they often turn their backs on you when they are asking for affection. Another is that they will perform frenzied grooming activities when they are stressed. When The Big Girl, for instance, was terrorizing The Little Girl, The Little Girl would wash her own back obsessively.
Something has changed. I'm not sure if it's something inside me or in my environment but within the last few days something has changed. Then again, maybe it's the congestion and fever.
[Note to myself upon later reading: Maybe this is when Mom had her silent mini-stroke. Take note of what I recorded about her walking and sleeping from here on out.]
As my mother said, "Wouldn't you think it'd be about time for the neighbors to take those decorations down?"
