I Said, No More Driving! - To LTF

    I agree that society needs to be protected from the very young and the very old, more often than it needs to be protected from adults. I admit we were very lucky. I know, for some people, giving up not just a driver's license but a car is a problem. It requires an adjustment in thinking as well as in lifestyle. My mother had a sense of her own independence long before she ever learned to drive, which helped. She's never been a very good driver. It was my father, not her, who taught us how to drive.
