Dragging In - To MFS

I went up to Prescott to retrieve the garbage can, which I was sure was right where it was when we left two weeks ago this last Tuesday. I should have gotten up there earlier but I kept putting it off. I picked up a few things I thought we could use here, like the stereo. Maybe it would help if Mom had a little music in her life. Then again, maybe it wouldn't. Who knows.
She didn't tell me you called. I asked her about it when I noticed your email and she said, "Oh yes. Well, I talked to her so you didn't need to call her." So, I guess she had a good reason for not telling me to call. In case I haven't told you this lately, make sure, if there is something I need to hear, that I hear it directly. Do not ever depend on Mom to relate a message!
I've got a cold so I'm feeling a little tired. No, Mom's not walking much. At least I'm getting her out to the store. She didn't want to go to Prescott today and I didn't want her to go so that worked well. I spent less than a half hour at the residence. It was a nothing trip. I didn't even listen to NPR on the way; I slept and the car took me. Mom really wants to go out to eat tonight but I just don't have it in me. I probably won't even eat. I'll make sure she eats and takes her pill.
I'll tell you, you need to worry more about you than me, MFS. Nobody is making my life miserable by design. You call me if you need to talk and I'll call you back. I love you, my Christmas elf.
