Watching - To MFS

The buffet at the Ramada was only a quarter as good as the one at the Hilton last year over Christmas but it was probably 16 times better than any home cooked Thanksgiving meal I've had. I think it's the choice. We had herb crusted pork tenderloin which was wonderful. There was a mixture of broccoli, carrots and fresh herb dressing that was so good I filled half my plate with it. There were several desserts. I had a piece of blueberry cheesecake. All Mom had was a brownie. She said that's all she wanted. She did have some wine and coffee and we sat and people watched and gossiped about all the strangers around us for the longest time. It was great!
Mom's blood sugar has been staying steady. Today she woke up at 0900, had a short nap this afternoon, and she's still up now at 2028. Two days ago she spent the whole day in bed. You never know when a day is going to be a good sleep day or a good awake day!
I seem to be in permanent PMS since about two weeks ago. I've been dropping things every day and having PMS cramps the whole time. No period, though. I hope this is the beginning of the end of it. That would be a nice 50th birthday present for me!
Well, Mom may be going for it tonight but I'm tired.
